A Thank You from The President

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those wonderful HPI members who assisted with the Caboolture Rotary Christmas Raffle. From all reports this was a record year for their raffle and our administration account is a lot healthier to the tune of $4030. Well done people. At the presentation of the cheque at the Rotary meeting on Tuesday night , there was a suggestion of a good natured competition between the three groups who sell tickets for the raffle. I don't think that would be very fair to the others because I know HPI would win hands down. Yes we will be participating again this year so start planning for it, too soon you say, well it is the start of January, now where did that go?

I would also like to thank all those HPI members and friends who assisted Glasshouse Rotary with the car parking at Australia Zoo over the Christmas and New

Year holidays. A holiday it certainly wasn't. HPI filled 10 shifts which earned us $1000 but I think Rotary are prepared to add a little more because the feeling is Rotary would have been unable to do it without assistance. It looks as though this will be a regular thing during all upcoming school holidays not just Christmas, so start planning your shifts for the next school holidays. Thanks to all.

With much appreciation,
